Frank Fischbeck Collection Exhibition Opening Ceremony

In celebration of the University of Hong Kong Libraries’ 110th Anniversary, we proudly present one of our largest photographic collections — Frank Fischbeck Collection (https://digitalrepository.lib.hku.hk/fischbeck). It is comprised of around 24,000 historic images of Hong Kong, Asia, and other parts of the world. Acquired by the University Libraries in 2019 with funding from several charitable foundations, the Frank Fischbeck Collection showcases a wide variety of photographic formats and a rich array of social topics with a large time span dating from 1860 to the early 2000s.
The Exhibition will be held from Monday, 21 August to Wednesday, 27 September 2023 in our Main Library Building, with engagement activities for this unique collection - Exploring Photographic Formats & Identifying Photography Processes.
